Just beyond the Point of the Mountain lies the city of Lehi. Home to Silicon Slopes, Thanksgiving Point, and … human skin? Here’s what to do in this Utah County suburb:

Grab a pretzel and lemonade at Auntie Anne’s and shop til you drop at the Outlets at Traverse Mountain. This open-air shopping center has popular brands and designer outlets, including Nike, Coach, and Levi’s. After, head to the nearby Harmon’s for one of the best salads in Utah. You’ve earned it.

Thanksgiving Point is a kid-friendly destination with a number of attractions, such as the Museum of Ancient Life, which features a giant collection of dinosaur fossils and interactive exhibits. Be sure to also visit the Butterfly Biosphere with thousands of butterflies from around the world. Plus, the Tulip Festival is running now through May 13 (scroll to the bottom of this newsletter for more deets).

Stop here for delicious Thai food. Plus, they have hanging plant decor, and they garnish their dishes with edible flowers, so that’s fun. Try the Massaman curry and drunken noodles.

Flowers.

Sorry for the morbidness, here’s some pretty flowers. (@thankspoint/Instagram)

Viewer discretion advised: Hutchings Museum is full of weird oddities, including leather made from the skin of Chauncey Millard. Millard was the youngest person ever executed in Utah at age 18. He sold his corpse beforehand to a doctor for a pound of candy. The doctor then removed and tanned his skin to wrap his surgical instruments in 🤢
